How the engagement works

  • Confirm the selected mentoring option, institution route and separately payable charges.
  • Develop the research proposal, application documents and publication roadmap.
  • Complete a readiness review before submission and agree the next-stage mentoring plan.

Payment agreement

Select the proposed payment arrangement:

The £2,500 amount is recorded as a separate university/provider charge. It must be verified with the named institution and is not treated as a GCA mentoring fee.

Important service boundaries

To protect both you and GCA, please note:

  • GCA does not guarantee university admission, supervision, registration, publication or degree completion.
  • Mentoring fees and university or provider fees are separate.
  • University charges, recognition, accreditation and programme status must be verified directly with the institution before payment.
  • Planned publication numbers are development goals, not guaranteed acceptances.
  • Visa or immigration filing is not included.

Participant responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete and verifiable information and documents.
  • Attend agreed sessions, complete actions and respond within reasonable timelines.
  • Follow research-integrity, authorship, citation and confidentiality requirements.
  • Pay fees according to the signed payment schedule and retain payment records.
  • Inform GCA promptly of material changes to objectives, deadlines or circumstances.

Consent and acknowledgements

By submitting this form, I confirm that:

  1. I am voluntarily enrolling in the selected mentoring programme.
  2. I consent to the collection and secure use of my personal information for programme administration, mentoring delivery, payment records and directly related communication.
  3. I understand that mentoring is developmental support and does not transfer decision-making authority from universities, journals, professional bodies, endorsing bodies or government authorities.
  4. I understand that third-party fees are separate unless expressly included in the written programme scope.
  5. I will review the final written scope and payment schedule before making payment.
  6. I understand that I must independently verify the institution, programme status, tuition and award arrangements before paying any third-party fee.
