A summary of how GCA’s mentoring works. Your written mentoring agreement sets your exact scope, fee and milestones and prevails if it differs.
The service
GCA is an independent academic mentoring service. GCA does not award degrees, publications, fellowships, endorsements or visas and does not provide regulated immigration advice.
No outcome guarantees
Admission, publication, citation, fellowship, endorsement and visa decisions are made by independent third parties. Fees do not buy authorship, publication or any credential.
Fees and payment
- Fees are on the fees page and confirmed in writing before you pay.
- Instalments may be offered where approved.
- Tuition, journal, exam, professional-body and other third-party charges are separate unless stated in writing.
- Pay only to details GCA issues to you, and check the recipient name. GCA will never ask you to pay a personal account.
- Cancellation and refund terms are in your written agreement.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and verifiable information and documents.
- Attend agreed sessions, complete actions and respond within reasonable timelines.
- Follow research-integrity, authorship, citation and confidentiality requirements.
- Pay fees according to the signed payment schedule and retain payment records.
- Inform GCA promptly of material changes to objectives, deadlines or circumstances.
All work, authorship and evidence must be genuine. We may end an engagement if asked to create manufactured credentials, artificial citations or misleading claims.
Immigration
GCA is not an immigration adviser. Use a regulated adviser for visa questions.
