Who it is for
- Researchers with many ideas and few finished papers
- Early-career academics building a publication record
- Authors facing reviewer comments or repeated rejection
A pipeline, not a pile of drafts
Every paper gets a purpose, a place in the sequence, an owner and a date. We help with journal fit, avoiding predatory outlets, and agreeing authorship before writing starts.
Fees cover mentoring, never authorship or publication. Every named author must have genuinely contributed.
What is included
- Research-topic development and paper portfolio planning
- Journal targeting by scope, timing, access model and fee/waiver considerations
- Authorship structuring, contributor-role clarification and dispute-prevention guidance
- Outline, drafting, internal-review and submission-readiness mentoring
- Cover-letter, highlights, keywords and graphical-abstract guidance where required
- Reviewer-response coaching, revision tracking and resubmission strategy
- Reference-management workflows using tools such as Zotero or Mendeley
- Research-profile creation and maintenance guidance
How it works
- Baseline review of themes, experience, existing outputs and available data
- Agreement of a realistic paper pipeline and contribution plan
- Scheduled mentoring, drafting checkpoints and internal quality reviews
- Submission-readiness review and ongoing revision support within the written scope
Fees
Journal processing charges, data-collection costs, software, conference fees and other third-party charges are separate. See fees & payment.
Good to know
- The £5,500 fee covers mentoring and development support, not the purchase of authorship or publication.
- The number of completed or accepted papers depends on participant work, evidence quality, journal decisions and the agreed timeframe.
- GCA does not guarantee acceptance, indexing, citations, awards or a specific h-index.
- All authorship must reflect genuine contribution and comply with publication ethics.
